Job summary

Kainos is seeking a Workday Engagement Manager to lead successful Workday implementations for customers, collaborating with business teams and internal delivery groups to shape scope, definitions and delivery that are fit for purpose and commercially viable.

You will oversee the full delivery lifecycle with sales and capability architects, manage projects (large or multiple smaller ones) and ensure client satisfaction through planning, resourcing and milestones, while driving opportunities for

Qualifications

• Experience with Workday delivery methodologies.
• Commercial experience managing distributed and blended teams.
• Excellent commercial management, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication with customers and colleagues; able to present to senior audiences.
• Strong business writing skills for business cases, tender docs, contracts and SOWs.
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for additional business and act on them.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and balance customer needs with Kainos commercial priorities.

Responsibilities

• Commercially manage implementations of global Workday programmes from pre-sales through to handover to AMS.
• Act as the key client interface between functional and technical teams and the client.
• Provide functional insight from domain experience (HCM, Fins, Payroll) to support delivery.
• Manage all aspects of project delivery including planning, resourcing, milestones and commercials.
• Lead blended teams of colleagues, client and partner resources to deliver integrated outcomes.
• Set objectives, milestones and contracts with the client and manage related terms.
• Document requirements, processes and configurations to enable knowledge transfer.
• Prepare well-structured deliverables and present to client steering groups for buy-in.
• Identify opportunities to win business and negotiate with senior client leadership.
