Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions in Exeter, Devon, is seeking an Import & Export Administrator to support international shipping and logistics operations. The role is permanent, with hours Monday to Friday 9:00am–17:00pm and a salary of up to £28,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate has prior import/export or logistics experience, a good understanding of customs procedures and strong organizational skills, plus proficiency with MS Office and logistics systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in import/export or logistics-focused roles.
• Understanding of customs procedures and trade compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics/shipping software.
• Degree or qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage import and export shipments from start to finish.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders and customs agents.
• Prepare and check shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin).
• Monitor stock and coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain records for compliance and audit purposes.
• Assist in reviewing freight and shipping costs.
• Stay updated on customs regulations and tariffs.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, legal and other departments.
