Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is seeking an Import & Export Administrator to join our team in Exeter. You will manage end-to-end shipments, liaise with freight forwarders and agents, and ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations.

You will prepare shipping documentation, monitor stock, and help optimize freight costs while maintaining accurate records and supporting cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in import/export or logistics roles.
• Good understanding of customs procedures and trade compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and shipping systems is beneficial.
• A degree in logistics, SCM or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage import and export shipments from start to finish, ensuring compliance with customs requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders and customs agents to resolve issues.
• Prepare and check shipping documents: invoices, packing lists, origin certificates.
• Monitor stock and coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of import/export activity for compliance and audits.
• Support review and optimization of freight and shipping costs.
• Stay updated on customs tariffs and international trade changes.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, legal and other departments for smooth operations.
