Job summary

HAWK3 Talent Solutions is seeking an Import & Export Administrator in Exeter, Devon. The role supports international shipping and logistics operations within a busy organisation.

You will manage shipments end-to-end, liaise with suppliers and freight forwarders, and prepare essential shipping documents while ensuring compliance with customs rules. A background in import/export or logistics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in an import/export or logistics-focused role.
• Good understanding of customs procedures and international trade compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• A degree or qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related subject would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing import and export shipments from start to finish, ensuring all processes comply with customs and international trade requirements.
• Liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders and customs agents to coordinate shipments and resolve issues.
• Preparing and checking shipping documents including commercial invoices and packing lists.
• Monitoring stock and coordinating logistics to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintaining records of import/export activity for compliance and audits.
