Job summary

Randox Laboratories is seeking a Technical Support Scientist to join the Customer/Technical Support team in Antrim. The role focuses on providing technical and applications support for Randox reagents and QC materials, with opportunities to train staff and travel internationally.

The position is full-time and permanent, based at Randox Science Park in Antrim. The role involves desk-based scientific support with occasional travel to customer sites and knowledge sharing across laboratories

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biomedical Science or Life Science.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Flexibility to travel globally.
• Current right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and applications support for Randox reagent and quality control materials.
• Troubleshoot technical customer queries from local and international locations.
• Provide product information and advice on Randox procedures.
• Review and analyse performance data and comparative studies.
• Deliver product and instrument training to international staff.
• Log and monitor customer/internal queries using query-logging software.
• Develop extensive product knowledge across Randox product groups.
• Travel internationally to customer sites when required.
