Groomfield Recruitment is seeking a technically minded Technical Sales Representative to join a growing international sales team. You will work with an established UK manufacturer supplying specialist equipment to global industries.

The role demands both engineering insight and commercial drive, with responsibilities spanning relationship management, technical support, and international sales activities. Travel is a core element of the position.

Qualifications

• Engineering HND or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Experience in technical or engineering sales.
• Experience in international sales with distributors/agents.
• SAP Business One or Sage 50 experience beneficial.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with distributors and agents across international markets.
• Provide in-depth technical support and interpret testing standards.
• Identify new international opportunities and manage from inquiry to order.
• Visit customers to follow up enquiries and convert opportunities.
• Deliver product demonstrations, presentations and training on-site or remotely.
• Maintain CRM, sales pipeline, and provide forecasts and reports.
• Monitor competitors and contribute to market strategy and product development.
• Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Plan travel for international assignments.
