Job summary

Personnel Selection are pleased to be working with this fantastic engineering business, who are looking for a Sales Engineer with real energy, enthusiasm and ambition to join a growing engineering business with an international customer base.

You’ll combine a strong technical foundation with a natural commercial instinct, travel across the UK to meet customers, prepare quotations and develop technical proposals for tenders and live project opportunities.

Qualifications

• A technical or engineering background.
• Experience in technical sales or the drive to start a sales career leveraging engineering knowledge.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and commercially.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, organised and self-motivated approach.
• Willingness to travel and engage with customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical proposals and respond to tenders.
• Handle customer-facing sales, account management and project activity.
• Travel across the UK to meet customers and support international opportunities.
