Job summary

World Class Defence Organisation is seeking two Procurement Manager subcontractors for an initial 9-12 month contract, based in Stevenage or Bristol. The role is hybrid/remote with three days onsite and the rest from home, totaling 37 hours per week.

You will manage supplier subcontracts across the lifecycle, negotiate pricing and terms, bid for new work and drive supplier performance in a sensitive defence environment. Travel to UK and European suppliers will be required.

Qualifications

• Contract management and negotiation experience in supplier/customer environments.
• Day-to-day problem solving in a fast-paced commercial setting.
• Clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assertiveness to maximise procurement opportunities.
• Business/procurement qualification or accreditation or equivalent experience.
• UK and European travel to suppliers required.

Responsibilities

• Manage mature supplier subcontracts and ensure delivery in line with contract obligations.
• Negotiate value for money and future pricing arrangements.
• Bid for new business and place subcontracts as needed.
• Manage supplier obsolescence and deploy mitigation strategies.
