Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Engineer to partner with Account Executives and support EMEA customers, performing architectural discovery and validating solutions. You will compare Contentful capabilities with legacy technologies and craft compelling demonstrations.

You will collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and successful project launches across teams, while translating needs into product feedback and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English; other European languages preferred.
• 3–5 years experience as a Sales/Solution Engineer/Architect or 5–10 years as a developer in digital experience delivery.
• Strong presentation skills to convey business and technical concepts to varied personas.
• Experience with current web technologies (JavaScript frameworks, REST APIs, CDNs, CI/CD).
• High emotional intelligence to navigate multi-stakeholder meetings.
• Curiosity about how technology drives business value.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Executives to support EMEA customers.
• Help prospects understand Contentful capabilities and how it compares to legacy technologies.
• Understand prospects' project requirements and validate against the platform, mitigating risks.
• Create product demonstrations and assist with technical evaluations.
• Communicate customer needs and product feedback to product, marketing, and sales.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success to ensure successful onboarding.
