Job summary

Contentful, now part of Salesforce, seeks a Solution/Sales Engineer to partner with Account Executives and support EMEA customers. You’ll help prospects understand capabilities, validate requirements against our platform, and design demonstrations.

You’ll travel up to 50% and collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success Managers to ensure successful deployment and launches. Fluency in English is required; other European languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience as Sales/Solution Engineer/Architect or Solution Consultant for a cloud-based SaaS company; or 5–10 years as a developer in digital experience delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work with Account Executives to support EMEA customers.
• Help prospects understand Contentful and compare with legacy tech.
• Validate requirements against the platform and identify risks.
• Create product demonstrations and assist with evaluations.
• Communicate needs to product, marketing and sales.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success Managers for successful deployments.
