Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Customer Service Advisor in the East Midlands to handle inbound inquiries from worldwide clients regarding shipping options. You will guide customers by phone, email and social channels, building rapport and delivering clear information.

The role is full-time with a hybrid pattern (one week on-site, one week remote) until January 2027, then full office-based. Pay at £15.34 per hour; shifts 08:00–19:15, five days per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement for excellent customer service experience.
• Clear communication ability in both written and verbal form.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and provide consistent information.
• Comfort with handling inquiries via phone, email and social media.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel would aid performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound calls from worldwide clients with shipment requests.
• Guide customers through transit options and provide accurate information.
• Build rapport and identify customer needs.
• Deliver consistent call flow and advise on best transit choices.
• Pursue up-selling opportunities while ensuring informed decisions.
