Job summary

SRT Marine Systems plc is seeking a Security & Compliance Manager to own security across product deployment, operation, and support in customer environments worldwide. You will drive assurance, certification, and response activities, working with delivery, network, and IT teams as well as external partners.

The role is senior and customer-facing, focused on leadership and coordination rather than hands-on engineering, with travel to Cardiff, Bath, and customer sites, and hybrid working from the

Qualifications

• Experience in security management and compliance for customer deployments.
• Proven track record with ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus audits.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate changes.
• Experience coordinating third-party security providers.
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing long-lived systems (beneficial).

Responsibilities

• Act as senior voice for security across delivery and operations.
• Define customer operating policies for secure implementation.
• Own through-life security of equipment deployed with lifecycle management.
• Lead responses to security requirements, audits, and approvals.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure security claims reflect reality.
• Lead assurance and certification activity (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus).
• Direct external security partners and manage remediation priorities.
• Report risk, progress and priorities to senior leadership.
