Job summary

SRT Marine Systems plc is seeking a Security & Compliance Manager to own security across delivery, operations and customer environments globally. The role focuses on leading a coherent, end-to-end security program with a strong emphasis on governance and assurance.

You will work across delivery, customer-facing, network & infrastructure and corporate IT teams, and with external security partners to ensure secure deployment throughout the system lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong background in security management and assurance across customer deployments.
• Track record delivering ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus audits.
• Practical know-how securing deployed infrastructure and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior voice for security across delivery and operations.
• Define customer operating policies for secure deployment and operation.
• Own through-life security of equipment deployed with patching and config controls.
• Lead responses to security requirements, including government and defence customers.
• Coordinate with engineering to support security claims to customers and auditors.
• Lead assurance and certification activities (ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, others).
• Unify security expertise into a prioritized program of improvement.
• Direct external security partners as an extended security resource pool.
• Assign risk levels and help prioritise remediation with project delivery.
• Report risk, progress and priorities to senior leadership in business terms.
