Job summary

SRT Marine Systems plc is seeking a Security & Compliance Manager to own security across product delivery and customer operations. This senior, customer-facing role sits at the intersection of secure delivery and corporate security, coordinating with delivery, IT and external partners.

The role is primarily based from the Bristol office, with occasional travel to Cardiff, Bath and customer sites worldwide. Hybrid working is available, with strong emphasis on leadership and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in security management and compliance.
• Proven track record of achieving ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Experience leading customer-facing security engagements and audits.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior voice and champion for security across delivery and customer operations.
• Define customer operating policies for secure deployment and operation of SRT systems.
• Own through-life security of equipment deployed in customer environments, including patching and lifecycle management.
• Lead responses to customer security requirements, assurance questionnaires and approvals.
• Coordinate with engineering and operations to support security claims with reality.
• Lead assurance and certification activities, including ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Coordinate external security partners as an extended monitoring/assessment resource.
• Assign risk levels and prioritise remediation alongside projects.
• Report risk, progress and priorities to senior leadership in business terms.
