Job summary

Smiths Detection is undertaking a global Salesforce CRM transformation to standardise customer management, forecasting, pipeline visibility and commercial decision-making. We seek a CRM Business Transformation Lead to own the business side of the deployment, ensuring adoption and value delivery across a multinational sales organisation.

This leader will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage external partners, and drive governance and change management to embed Salesforce across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience leading at least one full Salesforce CRM implementation from business requirements through to deployment and adoption.
• Strong background in Commercial Excellence, Sales Operations or Revenue Operations.
• Proven ability to drive organisational change across complex environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Hands-on Salesforce configuration is not required; IT/Digital team will provide.

Responsibilities

• Act as the business lead for the Salesforce programme and primary interface between commercial teams, leadership, IT and external implementation partners.
• Lead redesign and standardisation of commercial processes including lead management, opportunity management, forecasting, pipeline management and account planning.
• Define and prioritise business requirements to align Salesforce with commercial objectives.
• Drive business readiness activities and change management for new ways of working.
• Develop and execute training strategies to maximise adoption and ensure governance.
