Smiths Detection Group is driving a global commercial transformation by standardising Salesforce CRM to deliver better customer management, forecasting and pipeline visibility. We seek a CRM Business Transformation Lead who will own the business side of the implementation, ensuring value delivery, adoption and alignment with commercial objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading at least one full Salesforce CRM implementation from business requirements through to deployment and user adoption.
• Strong background in Commercial Excellence, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Customer Experience, Business Transformation, or similar commercial function.
• Demonstrable experience leading organisational change and embedding new processes across complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as the business lead for the Salesforce programme and primary interface between commercial teams, leadership, IT and external implementation partners.
• Lead the redesign and standardisation of commercial processes including lead management, opportunity management, forecasting, pipeline management and account planning.
• Define and prioritise business requirements to ensure Salesforce is aligned to commercial objectives.
• Drive business readiness activities, ensuring teams are prepared for new ways of working before launch.
• Develop and execute change management, communication and training strategies to maximise adoption.
• Establish governance structures, ownership models and ongoing operating processes for Salesforce.
• Manage implementation partners and hold them accountable for delivery against scope, timelines and budgets.
• Lead stakeholder engagement across sales, marketing, service, finance, legal, digital and IT teams.
• Define adoption metrics, success measures and benefits realisation plans to demonstrate return on investment.
