Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a People Experience Operations Partner to own day-to-day HR operations across assigned international locations. You will manage employee lifecycle processes, country-specific employment documentation, changes, leave and benefits administration, and coordinate with Payroll, Finance, Legal, and EORs.

Working closely with the central PX team and US-based colleagues, you will blend hands-on execution with process improvement, ensuring compliant, high-quality employee experiences

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in People Operations or HR operations across multiple countries.
• Experience onboarding/offboarding, employment documentation, leave administration, payroll inputs, and benefits.
• Strong HR systems and data skills; able to translate data into actionable insights.
• Ability to work independently across time zones.
• Strong communication and collaboration, handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a consistent, locally relevant employee experience across international locations.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding with PX Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, IT, Payroll, and Legal.
• Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and employee letters using local templates with Legal review.
• Maintain HRIS records and reconcile data across systems and providers.
• Coordinate payroll inputs, leave administration, and benefits support with internal teams and external providers.
• Serve as a day-to-day HR operations contact for employees, managers, and EORs.
• Support new-country and entity launches with assigned operational workstreams for employment processes, payroll, benefits, and support, including transitions from EOR arrangements.
• Partner with Global Mobility to coordinate immigration, work authorization renewals, relocations, and transfers.
• Support managers through performance reviews, promotion cycles, talent reviews, and development programs.
• Maintain process guides, employee resources, and compliance calendars; report and audit support.
• Use feedback to identify service gaps and improve the employee experience.
• Implement process improvements, automation, and system enhancements within global standards.
• Collaborate across countries/time zones with US-based PX team.
