Stanton House, in partnership with a global professional services organisation, invites applications for a Payroll Manager – Transformation. This 12-month FTC role is hybrid, based in the UK with three days in the office and US/Canada payroll responsibility across the region.

You will lead payroll delivery for US and Canada, manage a regional team and collaborate with North American time zones to drive a global managed payroll service and transformation programme.

Formación

• Extensive experience managing US and Canadian payroll operations within a large, global business.
• Proven ability to balance operational payroll leadership with transformation or change initiatives.
• Demonstrable track record in payroll-related projects, process improvements, or outsourcing programmes.
• Experience supporting payroll managed service implementations or vendor transitions; CloudPay is a bonus.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and credibility with senior leaders.
• Strong understanding of US payroll legislation, taxation and compliance.
• Experience in multinational or globally matrixed organisations.
• Excellent communication and ability to navigate ambiguity to drive outcomes.
• Advanced Excel and payroll reporting capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead payroll operations across the US and Canada, ensuring accurate and compliant delivery for a large employee population.
• Manage and develop a payroll team based across North America.
• Act as primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing updates on operations, risks and programme progress.
• Support ongoing implementation of a global managed payroll service model.
• Collaborate with transformation teams, payroll specialists and external providers to deliver milestones.
• Facilitate discussions to define future-state payroll processes and operating models.
• Ensure payroll compliance with US and Canadian legislation, taxation and statutory requirements.
• Drive process standardisation and continuous improvement across payroll.
