Job summary

GM Performance Power Units is seeking a Payroll Analyst to manage end-to-end payroll for US and UK employees. You will ensure regulatory compliance, drive accuracy, and partner with HR on compensation and payroll processes.

The role requires 3+ years of payroll experience, Dayforce HCM proficiency, and strong Excel skills. You will support audits, reporting, and year-end activities in a dynamic, performance-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field.
• 3+ years of payroll experience in fast-paced environments.
• 3+ years multi-state payroll processing and compliance reporting.
• 3+ years supporting US payroll operations and compliance requirements.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Dayforce HCM and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience performing payroll audits, reconciliations, and payroll compliance reviews.
• Experience supporting hourly non-exempt workforce timekeeping administration.
• Proven ability to develop, analyze, reconcile, and present payroll and workforce data to support compliance, financial reporting, and business decision-making.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance regulations.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Administer bi-weekly, monthly, and off-cycle payrolls for US and UK employees.
• Ensure compliance with US federal/state payroll regulations, international pay practices, and company policies.
• Coordinate with HR for payroll deadlines, auditing, retroactive adjustments, and off-cycle payments.
• Maintain strong relationships with payroll vendors and ensure accurate reporting.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries promptly.
• Support payroll system configuration updates in Dayforce HCM.
• Adhere to auditing procedures to ensure accuracy for each payroll cycle.
• Enter and validate payroll and benefit information into related systems.
