Job summary

GM Performance Power Units is seeking a Payroll Analyst to lead end-to-end payroll processing across US and UK operations. You will partner with Human Resources to ensure accurate payroll execution, compliance, and timely reporting across multiple cycles.

The role emphasizes auditing, system configuration in Dayforce HCM, and working with vendors to maintain payroll accuracy while supporting compensation and bonus programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
• 3+ years payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and compliance reporting (US & UK).
• Experience supporting US payroll operations and payroll compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Dayforce HCM and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer bi-weekly, monthly, and off-cycle payrolls for salaried and hourly employees across GMPPU (US & UK).
• Ensure compliance with US federal/state payroll regs, international pay practices, and company policies.
• Coordinate with HR for payroll deadlines, auditing, retroactive adjustments, and off-cycle payments.
• Maintain relationships with payroll vendors and ensure accurate reporting (earnings statements, tax filings, wage garnishments).
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries promptly.
• Support payroll system configuration updates in Dayforce HCM or applicable platform.
• Adhere to auditing procedures and validate state tax allocations and notices.
