Job summary

GM Performance Power Units is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join its HR team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on end-to-end payroll processing for US and UK staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance across bi-weekly, monthly, and off-cycle cycles.

You will work with HR to meet deadlines, validate tax and benefits data, and support system updates in Dayforce HCM. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with multi-state payroll and payroll audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
• 3+ years payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and compliance reporting.
• Experience supporting US payroll operations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with Dayforce HCM and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience performing payroll audits and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Administer bi-weekly, monthly, and off cycle payrolls for salaried and hourly employees.
• Ensure compliance with US regulations, international pay practices, and company policies.
• Coordinate with HR on deadlines, audits, and off-cycle payments.
• Maintain payroll reporting, tax filings, and wage garnishments.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
• Support payroll system configuration updates in Dayforce HCM.
• Adhere to auditing procedures and validate state tax allocations and notices.
• Enter and validate payroll and benefits information into systems.
