Job summary

GM Performance Power Units is seeking a Payroll Analyst to manage end-to-end payroll across the UK and US. You will partner with HR to ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing and act as a subject matter expert on payroll administration.

You will handle bi-weekly and monthly cycles, support timekeeping, bonuses, and reporting, and contribute to continuous improvement of payroll procedures in a fast-paced motorsport environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
• 3+ years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience in multi-state payroll and compliance reporting.
• 3+ years experience supporting US payroll operations and payroll compliance requirements.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Dayforce HCM and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience performing payroll audits, reconciliations, and payroll compliance reviews.
• Experience supporting hourly non-exempt workforce timekeeping administration.
• Proven ability to develop, analyze, reconcile, and present payroll and workforce data for reporting and decision-making.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer bi-weekly, monthly, and off-cycle payrolls for salaried and hourly employees (US & UK).
• Ensure compliance with US federal/state regulations, international pay practices, and company policies.
• Coordinate with HR on deadlines, audits, and off-cycle payments.
• Maintain relationships with payroll vendors and ensure accurate reporting.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
• Support Dayforce HCM system configuration updates.
• Adhere to auditing procedures for each payroll cycle and ensure state tax allocations are correct.
• Enter and validate payroll and benefit information in related systems.
