Job summary

GM Performance Power Units is seeking a Payroll Analyst to manage end-to-end payroll processing in a fast-paced HR environment. You will handle bi-weekly, monthly, and off-cycle payrolls for US and UK employees, while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate reporting.

You will collaborate with HR to meet payroll deadlines, manage retroactive adjustments, and support system enhancements in Dayforce HCM. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
• 3+ years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state payroll and compliance reporting.
• 3+ years supporting US payroll operations and payroll compliance requirements.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Dayforce HCM and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience performing payroll audits, reconciliations, and payroll compliance reviews.
• Experience supporting hourly non-exempt workforce timekeeping administration.
• Proven ability to develop, analyze, reconcile, and present payroll data for compliance, financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Administer bi-weekly, monthly, and off cycle payrolls for salaried and hourly employees across GMPPU (US & UK).
• Ensure compliance with US federal and state payroll regulations, international pay practices, and company policies.
• Coordinate with HR for payroll deadlines, auditing, retroactive adjustments, and off-cycle payments.
• Maintain relationships with payroll vendors and ensure accurate payroll reporting.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
• Support payroll system configuration updates in Dayforce HCM.
• Adhere to audit procedures to ensure accuracy per payroll cycle and state tax allocations.
