Job summary

GM Performance Power Units is seeking a skilled Payroll Analyst to lead end-to-end payroll processing for US and UK teams. You will partner with Human Resources to ensure compliant and accurate payroll operations while serving as a subject matter expert for payroll administration.

The role emphasizes auditing, reporting, and continuous improvement, supporting bonus modeling, timekeeping, and year-end activities in Dayforce HCM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field.
• 3+ years payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 3+ years payroll processing experience including multi-state payroll and compliance reporting.
• 3+ years experience supporting US payroll operations and payroll compliance requirements.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Dayforce HCM and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience performing payroll audits, reconciliations, and payroll compliance reviews.
• Experience supporting hourly non-exempt workforce timekeeping administration.
• Proven ability to develop, analyze, reconcile, and present payroll and workforce data for compliance and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance regulations.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Administer bi-weekly, monthly, and off-cycle payrolls for US & UK employees.
• Ensure compliance with US federal/state regulations, international pay practices, and company policies.
• Coordinate with HR on deadlines, audits, retroactive adjustments, and off-cycle payments.
• Maintain relationships with payroll vendors and ensure accurate reporting.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
• Support Dayforce HCM system configuration updates.
• Adhere to auditing procedures and state tax allocations across payroll cycles.
• Enter and validate payroll and benefit data in related systems.
