Job summary

Bijoux De Mimi is seeking an Operations Manager to own the operational backbone of our fast-growing jewellery business from our Chelsea base, orchestrating supply chain, demand planning, and global logistics to support rapid scale across UK, EU and US markets. You’ll work directly with the Founder & CEO, Amelia Hitchcock-Merritt, building scalable systems and processes in a tiny, transparent team.

The role is autonomous, with hybrid days in the office (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and flexible

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Operations, Supply Chain, or Demand Planning, ideally in fast growing DTC e commerce (fashion, accessories, lifestyle)
• Strong analytical background: Economics, maths, or quantitative degree. You think in spreadsheets and can build forecasting models
• Day to day operations execution: You've booked shipments, managed lead times, liaised with 3PLs, and owned logistics schedules
• Proficiency with Shopify and warehouse management systems: You navigate these confidently and have worked with ASNs and inventory reconciliation
• Financial literacy: You understand cash flow, inventory carrying costs, and can make spend decisions confidently
• Import/export experience: You've dealt with customs, tariffs, documentation, or international logistics.
• Experience in jewellery, fashion or e-commerce.

Responsibilities

• Own demand planning and inventory strategy across UK, EU, and US warehouses to maximise availability and minimise overstock.
• Manage primary supplier relationships, confirm quantities, place orders, and lock in lead times.
• Coordinate with the Designer on product launches to sync production with freight schedules.
• Oversee international shipments, ASNs, and customs handling across all warehouses.
• Own all import/export decisions, HS codes, and export compliance across regions.
• Identify gaps and propose scalable improvements to cost, speed, and reliability.
