Job summary

Meridian Business Support is seeking an experienced Account Manager for a role within a regulated engineering environment serving major global OEMs. You will manage the complete commercial relationship, from initial enquiry and bid negotiation with the estimating team to order processing and export.

Salary is competitive with a company bonus, excellent pension, and 25 days leave plus bank holidays. Working hours are 8.00am-4.00pm Monday to Friday, with potential for hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large OEM customer accounts in a highly regulated engineering environment.
• Degree education or equivalent, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a technical environment with technically engineered products.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with drive and resourcefulness.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial relationship with one or two major global OEMs across a regulated engineering environment.
• Oversee cradle-to-grave order processing from enquiry, quotations, and production to dispatch and export.
• Ensure compliance with credit control, export licences, HMRC procedures and internal policies.
• Maintain day-to-day customer communication on quotations, delivery commitments, cost savings, audits and certifications.
• Attend meetings with customers (Teams or on-site) and occasionally visit sites.
