Job summary

Layka Recruitment Ltd. seeks a motivated Sales Executive to grow the client base in a logistics-focused environment. You will build relationships with clients, understand their needs, and promote specialized international services while driving growth.

You will report to the Business Manager and collaborate with overseas offices, partners and internal teams to deliver excellent service and identify opportunities for expansion.

Qualifications

• Proactive sales approach with confidence in cold calling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport at all levels.
• Organised, commercially aware and results-driven.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Make proactive sales calls to prospective and existing clients, with the opportunity to progress to face-to-face client meetings.
• Build strong, professional relationships with current and potential customers.
• Take time to understand each client's individual requirements and identify the right service solutions.
• Prepare quotations, follow up with clients and support the conversion of enquiries into business.
• Ensure quotations are commercially sound and profitable.
• Promote excellent customer service at every stage of the client journey.
• Actively search for new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Support the Business Manager with wider business development activity.
• Use Excel and internal systems to prepare accurate client quotations and maintain records.
• Complete client visit notes, follow-up reports, call logs and quotation records.
• Build effective working relationships with airline representatives, overseas Loomis International offices and trusted partners.
• Develop a strong understanding of the services provided across our international network.
