Job summary

Oceaneering, a global provider of engineered services and products for offshore energy, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to assist in day-to-day management of the logistics function. You will manage shipments, ensure export/import documentation accuracy, and support compliance across global air and sea movements.

Key responsibilities include preparing shipping papers, negotiating terms, verifying freight invoices, and delivering against KPIs.

Qualifications

• Dangerous Goods by Air/Sea.
• A Level standard with a minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C passes, to include English & Maths or equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience of logistics management within an MRP environment.

Responsibilities

• Organising all shipments in line with company requirements.
• Ensuring the integrity of import/export documentation such as Bills of lading, Commercial invoices and AWBs.
• Ensuring all Export compliance licenses are applied for when required.
• Timely preparation of shipping documentation and authorization for HMRC for all air and sea shipments globally.
• Preparing and maintaining a delivery schedule and communicating to all relevant departments.
• Assisting with renegotiating terms of business/service level agreements and performance evaluation and taking corrective action as required.
• Verification of all freight invoices.
• Deliver against departmental KPIs.
• Assisting other regions involved in shipping to countries covered by our region.
• Assisting Logistics Manager with Project Work as and when required.
• Guiding other UK branches on how to ship correctly to certain countries.
• Assisting the other co-ordinators with any Import issues / helping out with holiday cover.
• Take part in the out of hours on call rota.
