Job summary

Oceaneering International is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to assist in the day-to-day management of the logistics function, ensuring cost effectiveness and timely carriage using approved vendors for imports and exports.

You will organise all shipments, maintain import/export documentation, support negotiations on terms and performance, verify freight invoices, and collaborate with UK and global teams to deliver schedules and compliance across our offshore energy operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics management within an MRP environment.
• Dangerous Goods by Air/Sea certification.
• Strong negotiation skills for logistics terms and supplier agreements.

Responsibilities

• Organise all shipments in line with company requirements.
• Maintain import/export documentation (bills of lading, commercial invoices, AWBs).
• Prepare shipping documentation and HMRC clearance for air/sea shipments.
• Negotiate terms and monitor SLAs; take corrective action as needed.
• Verify freight invoices and support regional shipping needs.

Responsible for assisting in the day to day management of the logistics function, ensuring cost effectiveness and timely management of carriage, using approved vendors for Imports and Exports.

Responsibilities

Functions

ESSENTIAL

• Organisingall shipments in line with company requirements.
• Ensuring the integrity of import / export documentation such as Bills of lading, Commercial invoices and AWBs.
• Ensuring all Export compliancelicensesare applied for when required.
• Timely preparation ofshippingdocumentation and authorization for HMRC for all air and sea shipments globally.
• Preparing and maintaining a delivery schedule and communicating to all relevant departments.
• Assisting with the re-negotiating of terms of business/service level agreements and performance evaluation and taking corrective action as required.
• Verification of all freight invoices.
• Assisting other regions involved in shippingto countries covered by our region.
• Assisting Logistics Manager with Project Work as and when required.
• Guiding other UK branches on how to ship correctly tocertain countries.
• Assisting the otherco-ordinatorswith any Import issues / helping out with holiday cover.
• Take part in the out of hours on call rota.

NON-ESSENTIAL

• OrganisingLocal Haulage&cranerequirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Dangerous Goods by Air/Sea.
• A Level standard with a minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C passes, to include English&Math’sor equivalent.
• Demonstrable experienceof logistics management within an MRP environment.

DESIRED

Member of CIPS or equivalent logistics qualification.

Knowledge, Skills,Abilities, and Other Characteristics

• Excellent understanding of efficient materials flow and best practice.
• Extensive experience in dealing with global suppliers.
• Strong track record of negotiating logistics terms.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tightschedules
