Job summary

Nippon Express is seeking an detail‑driven Ocean Export Coordinator to manage end‑to‑end ocean export shipments, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will act as the central link between clients, carriers and internal teams to safeguard smooth cargo flow.

The role requires experience in freight forwarding or a logistics degree, strong English communication, and proficiency with freight management systems. Join a global Top 5 forwarder and contribute to international shipments.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding or a logistics degree is required.
• Strong professional English for interactions with clients, carriers and internal teams.
• Familiarity with freight management systems; CargoWise knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to organize, prepare and assemble documents from multiple data sources.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ocean export coordination from instruction receipt to file closure.
• Prepare and review export documentation (SLI, BLs, Delivery Orders, Certificates of Origin, etc.).
• Book cargo space with carriers and coordinate vessel schedules.
• Communicate with customers and escalate issues when needed.
• Calculate charges and ensure compliance and accurate document distribution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain records and KPIs.
