Job summary

Emerson Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse & Import/Export Coordinator to optimise warehouse operations, inventory control and international shipments from the UK. You will manage daily activities, ensure accurate records and advise on customs documentation.

This role requires proficiency with Excel and CRM/WMS systems, a forklift licence, and a focus on safe, compliant processes to meet delivery timelines. You’ll collaborate with carriers and internal teams to streamline logistics.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Experience with warehouse, logistics, or import/export coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse processes.
• Experience using CRM or Warehouse Management Systems.
• Valid forklift truck licence and degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts.
• Monitor stock levels and support replenishment activities.
• Ensure products are stored safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Coordinate with carriers and transport providers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Prepare and process import and export documentation, including commercial invoices and packing lists.
• Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Track inbound and outbound shipments and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company policies.
• Maintain records of all import/export transactions.
• Update CRM/Oracle Management Systems with shipment data.
