Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Global Control & Protection System Application Leader to define and drive the global HVDC strategy. You will provide technical leadership across NPI, projects and tenders, delivering standardized, high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions aligned with customer needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with power systems focus.
• Extensive HVDC control & protection design experience.
• Experience leading global multi-disciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute global HVDC control & protection strategy.
• Oversee reference solutions, standards, tools, and processes.
• Lead and mentor a global team of engineers.
• Ensure delivery within SQDC objectives.
• Own deployment and integration of control systems.
• Review design documents and ensure on-time delivery.
