We are a fast-growing expert skincare brand founded by the UK’s leading authority in skin health, Dr Sam Bunting. Founded in 2018, the brand is predominantly D2C but is now also sold in Sephora UK with an exciting growth plan to maximise this partnership. We specialise in giving customers the tools to master their own skin with transformative formulations and expert education. As we scale, we are expanding our team and looking for a driven, passionate, and ambitious individual to lead our retail business.

Role Overview

As our Global Head of Account Management, you will lead our business development strategy into Retail, building strong strategic retailer relationships. You will be responsible for accelerating growth through retail, nurturing these relationships long-term, and leading the strategy for future global expansion. The role also has a temporary responsibility for Retail execution and operations until we recruit a Global Head of Retail (likely from 2026).

Key Responsibilities

Global Head of Account Management role

  • Develop and execute global retail strategy, building on the UK foundation and exploring future international opportunities.
  • Lead retailer negotiations to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead strategy meetings, ensuring a comprehensive approach to omnichannel business plans in collaboration with marketing, growth, and education teams.
  • Sales forecasting, order management, and inventory management—collaborate with the retailer and supply chain team to ensure sufficient stock for campaigns and regular sales.
  • Ensure launches, new store openings, and retailer openings are well-executed and timely.
  • Work with VM team to ensure POS materials for all animations/stores are executed on time.
  • Collaborate closely with the e-commerce team to create seamless omnichannel experiences.
  • Evaluate performance against KPIs.
  • Manage retailer P&L and budget in collaboration with the finance team.

Temporary Global Head of Retail responsibilities

  • Oversee the performance, profitability, and growth of our retail partnership in the UK.
  • Hire and manage the UK retail team, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with store design, visual merchandising, and trade marketing teams to create compelling in-store environments and event plans.
  • Report weekly and monthly retail performance against KPIs.
  • Work with the Education Manager to ensure the BA team and wider retailer BA team are well-equipped to sell Dr Sam’s products (knowledge, inspiration, incentives).

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of account management experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in luxury, beauty, or premium skincare retail.
  • Experience managing international retail accounts with success in multiple markets is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive profitability while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience building and motivating cross-cultural teams.
  • Strategic thinker capable of balancing long-term vision with daily execution.
  • Deep understanding of global retail trends and the evolving luxury consumer journey.
  • Willingness to travel internationally from 2026 when needed.

Location

Attendance in the office in W2 3 days a week (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays), WFH 2 days a week. Some international travel may be required from 2026.
