Job description

We are a fast-growing expert skincare brand founded by the UK’s leading authority in skin health, Dr Sam Bunting. Founded in 2018, the brand is predominantly D2C but are now also sold in Sephora UK with an exciting growth plan to maximise the partnership. We specialise in giving customers the tools to master their own skin with transformative formulations and expert education. As we scale we are expanding the team and looking for a driven, passionate and ambitious individual who can lead our retail business.

Role Overview

As our Global Head of Account Management, you will lead our business development strategy into Retail, building a strong strategic retailer relationship. You will be responsible for accelerating strategic business growth through retail, forging and nurturing this relationship in long-term and lead the strategy for future global expansion. The role also has a temporary responsibility for Retail execution and operations, until we recruit a Global Head of Retail (likely from 2026).

Key Responsibilities

Global Head of Account Management role

  • Develop and execute global retail strategy, building on UK foundation and exploring future opportunities internationally
  • Lead on retailer negotiations to achieve business objectives
  • Lead on strategy meetings, ensuring a full 360 approach to the omnichannel business plans working in collaboration with marketing, growth and education, etc.
  • Sales forecasting, order management and inventory management – work in collaboration with the retailer and supply chain team to ensure sufficient stock availability for promo campaigns and and regular sales
  • Ensure launches, new store openings, retailer openings are well-executed and on time
  • Work with VM team to ensure POS material for all animations/stores is executed on time
  • Work closely with the e-commerce team to create seamless omnichannel experiences
  • Performance evaluation vs KPI’s
  • Manage retailer P&L / budget in collaboration with finance team

Temporary Global Head of Retail responsibilities

  • Oversee the performance, profitability, and growth of our retail partnership in the UK
  • Hire and manage UK retail team, fostering a culture of excellence
  • Collaborate with store design, visual merchandising, and trade marketing teams to create compelling in-store environments and animation & eventing plans
  • Reporting on weekly and monthly retail vs KPI’s
  • Work with Education Manager to ensure own BA team and wider retailer BA team are well equipped to sell Dr Sam’s (knowledge, inspiration, incentivised)

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of account management experience with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record in luxury, beauty, or premium skincare retail
  • Experience managing international retail accounts with demonstrated success in multiple markets, ideal but not essential
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills with the ability to drive profitability while maintaining brand integrity
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced scale-up brand
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience building and motivating cross-cultural teams
  • Strategic thinker who can balance long-term vision with day-to-day execution
  • Deep understanding of global retail trends and the evolving luxury consumer journey
  • Willingness to travel internationally from 2026 when needed

Location

Attendance in office in W2 3x a week (Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays), WFH x2 days a week. Some international travel may be required from 2026.
