Job description

Join to apply for the Head of Account Management, Advertising role at Hearst Networks EMEA.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to lead our Ad Sales team as the Head of Account Management. This role involves overseeing partnerships across our advertising sales houses in multiple territories, ensuring seamless collaboration, revenue growth, and operational excellence.

This is a unique opportunity to join a small yet impactful team working on diverse projects and contributing to our advertising strategy. You will report directly to the VP of Ad Sales and collaborate with regional offices to optimize revenue and explore new advertising opportunities.

The ideal candidate is analytical, experienced in advertising performance, and comfortable working with data to inform strategies. You should enjoy translating insights into actions and working closely with external partners to achieve results. Initially, you will join as an individual contributor, with potential to hire a direct report.

This is a permanent, hybrid role based in London, working on brands like Sky HISTORY and Crime+Investigation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Partnership Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with advertising sales houses across territories.
  • Negotiate, execute, and ensure compliance of partnership agreements and contracts.
  • Serve as the primary contact for sales partners, aligning with company goals.
  • Revenue Delivery & Optimization
    • Manage sales performance against targets to drive revenue.
    • Identify opportunities to maximize ad monetization and optimize revenue streams.
    • Provide insights and recommendations for advertising opportunities.
  • Commercial Analysis & Reporting
    • Conduct performance analyses and audience profiling.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver insightful reports on ad performance and revenue trends.
    • Troubleshoot challenges and propose data-driven solutions.
    • Work with VP of Ad Sales and regional teams to align strategies.
    • Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
    • Own projects, troubleshoot issues, and contribute proactively.
