Job summary

APRIL QUEST LIMITED, based in Oxford, seeks a Sales Administration Manager to lead the Export & Sales Administration function. You will develop the team, ensure accurate handling of orders and both domestic and international shipments, and manage service/repair activity with a focus on export compliance.

The role requires strong knowledge of export documentation, customs, licences and international shipping, plus commercial awareness and cross-functional collaboration with Commercial,

Qualifications

• Proven people management experience within Export, International Trade, Sales Administration or a similar operational environment.
• Strong customer-service and order/shipment handling experience.
• Commercial awareness with stakeholder management across functions such as Commercial, Production, Purchasing, Finance and Quality.
• Strong practical Export / International Trade experience with depth to lead the function.
• Good working knowledge of export documentation, customs processes, export controls, licences and international shipping requirements.
• Strong ownership and follow-through with a track record of resolving issues and delivering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Export & Sales Administration function, developing the team and ensuring accurate handling of orders and shipments.
• Develop and coach the team to improve performance and service levels.
• Manage orders, domestic and international shipments, service/repair activity and related administration.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Production, Purchasing, Finance and Quality to align activities.
• Take ownership of export/compliance issues and drive them through to resolution.
