Job summary

Worldpay in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead the Global Merchant and Partner Experience Engineering team and steer end-to-end software delivery across global markets.

You will own the design-to-production lifecycle, collaborate with Product managers, Architects and SREs, and drive quality, reliability, and timely delivery in a fast-paced payments environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full software development lifecycle including testing, implementation, and compliance processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams and stakeholders through product design, bug verification and go-live phases.
• Collaborate with Product managers, Architects, SRE and others for successful delivery.
• Take full ownership of Software Delivery from design to production deployment for assigned Products/Projects/Epics.
• Identify and allocate technical resources across Development, including FTEs and contractors.
• Ensure applications meet quality standards and delivery process requirements.
