Job summary

Super is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Payment Experience in the United Kingdom. You will lead two stream-aligned squads—Cards Experience and Cashier Experience—driving end-to-end payment journeys, PSP integrations, and 3DS routing, with responsibility for performance, reliability, and fast feature delivery.

You will shape architectural decisions, governance processes, and cross-squad collaboration, partnering with Product, Design, Markets, Partnerships, and a shared Product Manager

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading customer-facing, correctness-critical systems such as payments.
• Strong ability to lead full-stack teams with backend/frontend quality and performance.
• Excellent systems thinking for state machines, retries, idempotency, routing, and failure modes.

Responsibilities

• Lead two cross-functional squads across backend, frontend, iOS/Android, and QA to deliver card payment and Player Cashier platforms.
• Drive delivery hygiene across web, native, and backend release paths with clear definitions of done and release readiness.
• Own and evolve full-stack systems behind both squads, guiding PSP integrations, 3DS routing, and fraud boundaries.
