Job summary

Worldpay in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead the Global Merchant and Partner Experience Engineering team and steer end-to-end software delivery across global markets.

You will own the design-to-production lifecycle, collaborate with Product managers, Architects and SREs, and drive quality, reliability, and timely delivery in a fast-paced payments environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full software development lifecycle including testing, implementation, and compliance processes.

• Take full ownership of Software Delivery from design to production deployment for assigned Products/Projects/Epics.
• Identify and allocate technical resources across Development, including FTEs and contractors.
• Ensure applications meet quality standards and delivery process requirements.

Your Key responsibilities

• You will manage full software development lifecycle including testing, implementation, and compliance processes.
• You will collaborate with Engineering teams and other stakeholders through product design, bug verification and go-live phases.
• You will collaborate with Product managers, Architects, SRE and other stakeholders for ensuring successful delivery.
• You will take full ownership of Software Delivery from design to production deployment for the Products/Projects/Epics assigned to you
• You will work with managers/supervisors to identify and allocate technical resources, e.g., programmers, business analysts to projects within Development. This would include a mix of FTEs assigned to the development organization and contractors
• You will ensure applications meet appropriate quality standards and adhere to the organisation's application development and delivery process standards.
