Job summary

MBDA is seeking a procurement professional to manage supplier subcontracts across the lifecycle, negotiating terms and ensuring on‑time, on‑cost delivery of high‑value missile systems. You will build strong supplier relationships globally and provide commercial guidance to internal customers while mitigating risk.

The role supports hybrid working with on-site demand for the initial integration period and requires BPSS clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Procurement or Supply Chain role, ideally Defence or Aerospace contracting.
• Degree qualification in business or supply chain accreditation (e.g. CIPS) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in negotiation with customers/suppliers and global tendering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute subcontracts with existing suppliers or via tendering.
• Oversee subcontract amendments for compliance with contracting standards.
• Performance manage suppliers to meet subcontract obligations.
• Develop strong supplier relationships across UK, Europe and worldwide.
• Visit supplier premises and lead progress meetings; assess risks and opportunities.
