Job summary

World Class Defence Organisation is recruiting two Procurement Manager subcontractors on a 9-12 month contract, offering £45 per hour with time-and-a-quarter overtime. Roles are based in Stevenage or Bristol with a hybrid pattern: three days on site and the rest from home, 37 hours per week, Inside IR35 via Umbrella.

The successful candidates will manage supplier subcontracts, negotiate terms, and drive value through TaCs while collaborating with UK and international suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract management and negotiation in customer/supplier environment
• UK and European travel to suppliers required
• CIPS Level 4 qualification or above desirable, but not essential
• Experience of third-party IP licensing would be advantageous
• SAP navigation experience
• Strong commercial acumen, including T&Cs and negotiation experience

Responsibilities

• Manage mature supplier subcontracts and ensure delivery per contract obligations
• Negotiate value-for-money pricing and terms for future engagements
• Bid for new business and place subcontracts
• Mitigate supplier obsolescence risks and deploy mitigation strategies
