Job summary

Turnitin is seeking a Global Controller to lead the worldwide accounting function, spanning statutory reporting, audit, payroll, treasury, compliance, and tax. You will partner with the CLT, VP of FP&A, and business partners to align finance with strategic goals in a fast-moving, SaaS-focused environment.

This remote-first role emphasizes strong leadership of diverse teams, process innovation, automation, and robust controls while guiding enterprise-wide financial strategy and risk

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
CPA/CA or equivalent credential highly desirable.
10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Provides strategic leadership to global accounting across geographies.
Leads end-to-end accounting strategy including statutory reporting, audit, payroll, treasury, compliance, and tax.
Partners with CLT and FP&A to align finance with strategic goals.
Develops scalable processes, control environment, and automation.
