Job summary

Turnitin is seeking a Global Controller to oversee a comprehensive global accounting service spanning multiple geographies and verticals. You will lead core finance functions including accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, compliance, and internal controls while partnering with executive leaders to drive strategic outcomes.

The role requires extensive leadership experience in finance within SaaS or tech, a strong grasp of US GAAP, and a track record of transforming processes through automation

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading global accounting, reporting, tax, and treasury functions.
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership with global teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CA or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

• Lead global accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, compliance, and internal controls.
• Partner with CLT and VP FP&A to align finance with strategic goals.
• Build and mentor high-performing, geographically distributed finance teams.
• Drive process improvements and automation across finance systems and workflows.
