Turnitin is seeking a Global Controller to lead the worldwide accounting function, spanning statutory reporting, tax, treasury, and governance. The role partners with CLT, FP&A, and business units to align financial strategy with enterprise goals and ensure compliant, efficient operations.

The candidate will drive automation, modernize processes, and mentor a global team, delivering timely insights to the CFO and Board.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in spearheading finance system modernization and agile workflows.
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership with global scope.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead global accounting functions including statutory reporting, audits, payroll, treasury and tax.
• Drive end-to-end accounting strategy and establish robust governance frameworks.
• Mentor and develop distributed finance teams across regions.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)

CPA / Chartered Accountant / equivalent credential
