Job summary

WTW is seeking a Team Leader for its International Construction practice in the UK. You will manage a small team, oversee a portfolio of clients and prospects, and drive retention while actively pursuing new business opportunities.

You will bring deep technical knowledge of construction insurance across North America, Latin America or the Caribbean, combined with proven leadership and relationship-building skills to deliver exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Experience in North American, Latin American or Caribbean construction insurance markets.
• Proven track record of delivering high levels of client service.
• Strong strategic account development and use of appropriate tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships by understanding their business needs and delivering tailored risk management solutions.
• Identify and maintain relationships with key decision makers and budget holders within client organisations.
• Provide technical, industry and subject matter expertise, drawing on specialist teams as required.
• Develop and implement effective solutions, pricing, and placement strategies for both new and existing clients.
• Lead team to ensure consistent client service.
• Drive business development by maintaining a pipeline of prospects, responding to RFPs, and conducting new business presentations.
• Promote cross-selling opportunities and collaborate with colleagues across the business to maximise account penetration.
• Oversee placement management including revenue optimisation, compliance, accurate data processing, and policy checking.
• Deliver end-to-end client service, ensuring adherence to operational standards, regulatory requirements, and profitability targets.
• Monitor and manage KPIs/SLAs, provide feedback on process improvements, and actively support the implementation of corrective actions.
