Willis Towers Watson is recruiting for a Team Leader (Heavy Industry) to lead a six-person UK Construction team. You will manage client relationships, deliver tailored risk management solutions, and drive new business development while maintaining high service standards.

The role requires a strong technical insurance background in the UK construction market and proven team management experience. Hybrid working options and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Construction insurance experience is essential.
• Strong technical insurance knowledge within construction.
• Proven track record of delivering high levels of client service.
• Experience in strategic account development and using relevant tools.
• Experience with new business sales process and converting prospects to clients.
• Team management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships by understanding their business needs and delivering tailored risk management solutions.
• Identify and maintain relationships with key decision makers and budget holders within client organisations.
• Provide technical, industry and subject matter expertise, drawing on specialist teams as required.
• Develop and implement effective solutions, pricing, and placement strategies for both new and existing clients.
• Lead team to ensure consistent client service.
• Drive business development by maintaining a pipeline of prospects, responding to RFPs, and presenting to prospects.
• Promote cross-selling opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to maximise account penetration.
• Oversee placement management including revenue optimisation, compliance, data processing, and policy checking.
• Deliver end-to-end client service with focus on regulatory compliance and profitability targets.
• Monitor KPIs/SLAs and support process improvements and corrective actions.
