Your part in the performance

Our ideal applicant will communicate effectively with our German-speaking customers. Ideally, you will also have a passion for music and/or audio-visual products. Whether you are a DJ, play in a brass band, drum in a marching band, or love researching the latest home cinema or Wi-Fi tech, your knowledge will be valuable.

You will be equipped to deliver excellent customer service, including answering inbound calls (and some emails) from customers and providing friendly, professional advice on musical instruments & equipment. Your daily activities will include:

  1. Answering inbound calls and emails from customers
  2. Providing friendly and professional advice on musical instruments and related products, as well as audio-visual & equipment
  3. Resolving challenging customer inquiries and escalating issues when appropriate
  4. Becoming a valued member of our Customer Service team
Your Skills and Experience: What We're Looking For

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German (C1/C2 level)
  • Confidence and an exceptional telephone manner with rapport-building skills
  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer literacy
  • A good knowledge of musical instruments and equipment is highly beneficial
  • Reliable and dedicated to providing top-quality advice and service
  • Strong communication skills
  • An interest and appreciation of music is desirable

Our preferred location is at our head office in York. The working hours are from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Sundays.
