Stantec Inc. is seeking a Graduate Geo-Environmental / Geo-Technical Engineer to tackle a diverse range of projects across renewables, defence, commercial and residential sectors in the UK.
The role blends fieldwork with office-based consultancy, collaborating with Civils, Structural, Transport, and other teams to support clients through planning and construction. You will be mentored by senior leaders, with a structured progression plan to achieve professional chartership while working four
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences or Environmental Science (accredited).
- Accredited by a relevant professional body (GSL, ICE, IES, or CIWEM).
- Structured professional progression supporting chartership upon completion.
Responsibilities
- Design, scope, and manage site investigations including on-site supervision, soil/rock logging, and environmental sampling.
- Analyse field data and author comprehensive factual and interpretative reports.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative geo-environmental and geotechnical risk assessments for site development and remediation.
- Provide expert geo advice throughout design, planning, and construction phases on multidisciplinary schemes.
