Job summary

Stantec invites applications for a Graduate Geo-Environmental / Geo-Technical Engineer in the UK. You will work across renewable, defence, commercial and residential sectors, balancing fieldwork with office-based consultancy.

You’ll join a collaborative team, receive mentorship from senior leaders, and pursue professional chartership (CGeol, CEng, CSci, or CEnv) with key bodies. Graduates come into the office 4 days a week to engage with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology or related accredited field.
• Unconditional right to live and work in the UK for an indefinite period.
• Willingness to work four days per week in the office.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing, scoping, and managing site investigations, including on-site supervision, soil and rock logging, and environmental sampling.
• Analysing field data and authoring reports.
• Conducting geo-environmental and geotechnical risk assessments to support site development.
• Providing expert geo advice throughout design, planning, and construction phases.
