Job summary

Stantec is offering a 2027 Graduate Programme in Birmingham for a Graduate Geo-Environmental / Geo-Technical Engineer. You will work across renewables, defence, commercial and residential sectors with a mix of on-site tasks and office-based consultancy.

You will collaborate with Civils, Structural, Transport and other teams, receive mentorship, and pursue professional qualifications (CGeol, CEng, CSci, CEnv). The role includes site investigations, data analysis, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree accredited by a relevant professional body.
• Commitment to pursuing professional chartership (CGeol/CEng/CSci/CEnv).
• Interest in geo-environmental and geotechnical consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Designing, scoping, and managing site investigations including on-site supervision.
• Analyzing field data and producing factual and interpretative reports.
• Conducting geo-environmental and geotechnical risk assessments for development.
• Providing expert geo advice across design, planning and construction.
